To Create Ad-hoc Tasks

  1. Navigate to the Tasks tab by selecting any work package from the Construction/Installation/Test work package list window and then opening the Tasks tab.
  2. Click Add Task. A new row is added at the bottom of the list of tasks. The Title field is automatically filled with the project name. Change the title to something meaningful to you.
  3. Make changes by clicking in the field and typing your changes. You cannot edit the Drawing or Component fields. You can enter a value for Estimated labor hours only once; after the first entry, the field is no longer editable. If you need to change the estimated time, you need to delete and recreate the task.
  4. To move a task up/down in the task list, click the check box in the left most column and then click Up/Down.
  5. When finished, click Save changes.
